Life gives second chances. When Badra Andrews saw a bride weeping on the day of her wedding, she decided to take matters into her own hands. The wedding hall she had leased out was abused and neglected. In 2013 she would come out of early retirement and take back the property she entrusted to someone else. Six months into the transition, a mutual friend introduced her to Rasha Shammaa, a much needed source of help and inspiration. Together Badra and Rasha would transform what was once a wedding hall into West Houston’s premier event venue. Their tireless work paid off. The secret to their success is their passion for perfection, commitment to excellence, and a strong sense of giving back to the community that gave them their start. The Bougainvilleas soon transformed from a dream into a reality. And since its founding, the Bougainvilleas has made the dreams of its clients come true, hosting hundreds of events.
The venue is beautiful inside and out, the food was delicious and I would redo my wedding over and over in this place.
